First of all, thank you for taking an interest in my photography! I love what I do and love to share it. So who is this lady behind the camera, you might ask? First and foremost, I am a daughter of the King, a Christian, a lover of Jesus and His Word, saved by grace alone. I am the oldest daughter to my wonderful parents. I am a wife, best friend, and life companion to my gorgeous husband. I am a mother, the kisser of owies, teacher, trainer, hugger and holder extraordinaire to my four precious babes. I am a homemaker, family organizer, a maker of meals and cleaner of toilets, a gardener. I am a sister, a friend, a confidant, an encourager, and a counselor to all who find me as such. I am a writer, a philosopher, a thinker, and hopefully a grower. I am a photographer, a soul-capturer, a moment-preserver, an artist. I am a climber of mountains, a lover of the outdoors, and a traveler. I am strong (only by His strength), weak (a sinner by nature in desperate need of Jesus), sensitive, passionate, compassionate, impatient, optimistic, talkative, funny (at least I'd like to think), organized, disorganized, emotional and logical. I am woman, hear me roar! My love for photographing people was born out of a love for photographing the people I love most. I believe my talent as a photographer is a gift from God and I want to use it for His Glory, not my own. Some might say that faith and business shouldn't mix, but I beg to differ. You need to know your portrait photographer as photographer/subject chemistry is an important factor in how your pictures turn out and in how much you enjoy your portrait session.
